KS1 Multi-Skills Competition at WWEA

On Tuesday 26th February 2013, a group of young leaders from West Walsall E-ACT Academy came together to help assist run the Key Stage 1 Multi-Skills competition.

Leaders: Ashley, Amaan, Jessica Chadese, Rachel, Chanel, Louise, Chloe, Lucy, Theophany, Ayan, Chloe, Danielle, Harmanjit Bassi and Kyle Hawkins.

The competition involved multiple sports such as adapted running, throwing and jumping activities to help make it easier for the younger people to compete. Parents and relatives also attended to support their children. Young leaders welcomed the different schools and relatives and helped them through to the sports hall, they were then involved in adjudicating the various different sports activities. We were also involved in keeping track of scores and points and awarding the winning schools with certificates. So a huge thank you goes out to the young leaders who helped make this event successful and enjoyable.
