On Friday 7th February 2014, I went to Heartlands Academy in Birmingham along with five other students – Zuhaa (Yr9), Callum (Yr9), Jordan (Yr9), Emmanuel (Yr10), and Mpumie (Yr10).
We went to represent our academy at the E-ACT Trailblazers conference 2014. We got to socialise with students from other E-ACT academies and we did activities such as a sports quiz, Dragons Den and even designing the shirt that we want to wear when we are performing as a Trailblazer.
The day was very inspiring and we got to meet new people. I am very honoured to know that I will be organising and leading many E-ACT sports tournaments, along with students from other academies. I have learnt how to effectively communicate with other people and after taking part in organising the E-ACT games I will hopefully be more reliable, responsible and organised.
