On Tuesday 10th March 2015 Mr Mohan took a group of four Year 7, 8 & 9 students to King Edward VI School for Boys in Birmingham, to compete in the regional final of the UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) Challenge.
In our group of four, Abdullah, Kyma, Joseph and I found the challenges to be fun and interesting. In the first challenge we had to answer 10 questions between us. The next challenge was when we had to do a maths crossword where two of us did the down where the other two did the across. After that we did a shuttle challenge where you could do the first question and the answer of the first helped you with the second and so on. Finally, the last challenge was when we were separated from half of our group and we had to answer a question and then give the answer to the other half of our team.
