|Year 10||The OCR GCSE in Psychology option is split into 2 components. In year 10 the focus is component 1. This covers the following areas: Criminal Psychology, Development, Psychology Problems & Research Methods.|
Then in Year 11 students will focus on component 2. This covers the following areas: Social Influence, Memory, Sleep & Dreaming & Research Methods.
|OCR’s GCSE (9–1) in Psychology consists of two components that are externally assessed by written examination. The examinations will be 2 written papers lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes and will consist of short and medium tariff questions, as well as one extended essay question worth 13 marks. They will be taken at the end of Year 11.|
