On Tuesday 13th June, a group of year 9 and 10 students competed in the ‘Chance to Shine- Chance to Compete’ under-15 cricket competition held at Wolverhampton Cricket Club. After the year 7 and 8 team performed so well in the under-13 competition, it was a tough act to follow. On Wednesday 27th April, a group of year 10 pupils took part in a day of leadership training at Wolverhampton University, Walsall Campus. Students got the chance to take part in one of three activities: Street Cheer, Jump Rope or Ultimate Frisbee. The training day gave pupils an opportunity to try alternative sports/activities with an emphasis on leadership so that these activities could be tried and tested in school with pupils being the ones to lead the delivery of the activities.
