Students exceed both the regional and national average on the Brilliant Club Scholars Programme The Brilliant Club is an award-winning charity that exists to increase the number of pupils from under-represented backgrounds progressing to highly-selective universities. They do this by mobilising the PhD community at universities, to share academic expertise with state schools. Your Activity Leadership Training Day

On Wednesday 27th April, a group of year 10 pupils took part in a day of leadership training at Wolverhampton University, Walsall Campus. Students got the chance to take part in one of three activities: Street Cheer, Jump Rope or Ultimate Frisbee. The training day gave pupils an opportunity to try alternative sports/activities with an emphasis on leadership so that these activities could be tried and tested in school with pupils being the ones to lead the delivery of the activities. Teechers Production

The Year 13 BTEC Performing Arts group proudly present their performance of the classic John Godber social comedy, Teechers. The play is based in a tough school, and portrays the lives and battles that students and teachers face daily. Visit to central library and Grand Central Station

On the 20th of January 2016, a group of students had the opportunity to go and visit the Birmingham Art Gallery and the New Grand Central Station. We students took the train with Mrs. Juss and arrived in Birmingham where we spent the day together and had a lot of fun and exciting experiences. The Art Gallery was hosting a exhibition which detailed the journey which Bengali women had to endure all the way to England and the hardships they had to faced when migrating. Continue reading →
